    MÔR Cleaning Ltd - TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF CONTRACT

    This AGREEMENT (the "Agreement") is entered into between MÔR Cleaning Ltd (the "Contractor"), and yourself (the "Client"), regarding the completion of cleaning services (the "Work") and precedes any previous agreement you have with MÔR Cleaning Ltd.

    1. PAYMENT

    a) The Contractor will charge the Client for the Services at the rate agreed initially. Any price increases will be notified in writing via email to the Client with at least 30 days notice.

    b) Invoices submitted by the Contractor to the Client are due upon receipt and are to be paid by bank transfer immediately.

    c) Late payment charge of £10 plus interest will be added to your invoice if your invoice is not paid within 21 days of receipt.

    2. CANCELLATION OF SERVICES

    a) The contractor must be notified with a minimum of 2 full week notice if the Client wishes to cancel a clean. Failure to do so will result in the arranged clean still being charged to the Client.

    b) The client is expected to cancel a clean as soon as possible if the client or anyone in the household is suffering from sickness/diarrhoea or any highly contagious ailment we can refuse to clean but the Client will still be charged for the clean.

    c) COVID19 – The client is expected to cancel a clean if the client or anyone in the household has suspected coronavirus symptoms, has been contacted by track and trace or anyone in the household has been told to self-isolate.

    d) The contractor reserves the right to refuse to enter the property if they feel that the client is showing signs of any of the aforementioned symptoms, ailments or if they feel unsafe for any reason.

    e) In the event that either Party wishes to terminate this Agreement, the Client will be required to provide at least 2 weeks' notice in writing or via email directly to hello@morcleaning.co.uk. The Contractor has the right to cancel the cleaning with immediate effect.

    f) If 5 or more cleans are cancelled by the Client within a 12-month period (whether it being with the appropriate amount of notice or not) it will be decided by management whether the service will continue.

    3. CONFIDENTIALITY

    a) Confidential information (the "Confidential Information") refers to any data or information relating to the business of the Client which would reasonably be considered to be proprietary to the Client including, but not limited to, accounting records, business processes, and client records and that is not generally known in the industry of the Client and where the release of that Confidential Information could reasonably be expected to cause harm to the Client.

    b) The Contractor agrees that they will not disclose, divulge, reveal, report or use, for any purpose, any Confidential Information which the Contractor has obtained, except as authorised by the Client or as required by law. The Contractor further agrees that they will not disclose, divulge, reveal, report or use, for any purpose, any personal information of the Client, without the prior written consent of the Client. The obligations of confidentiality will apply during the term of this Agreement and will survive indefinitely upon termination of this Agreement.

    c) By receiving/reading this contract, it is agreed that MÔR Cleaning Ltd are able to contact you via post, email, text and telephone with any information in regards to the cleaning schedule you have booked and for information of legitimate interest.

    4. RETURN OF PROPERTY

    a) Upon the expiry or termination of this Agreement, the Contractor will return to the Client any property, documentation, records, or Confidential Information which is the property of the Client.

    5. CAPACITY/INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR

    b) In providing the Services under this Agreement it is expressly agreed that the Contractor is acting as an independent contractor and not as an employee. The Contractor and the Client acknowledge that this Agreement does not create a partnership or joint venture between them, and is exclusively a contract for service.

    6. USE OF EQUIPMENT

    a) The Client is expected to supply a hoover (unless otherwise agreed at the start of the service) and a clean mop and bucket. It is a the duty of the client to ensure that the equipment is clean, in a working order and is electrically safe to use. Please also ensure that the filters are checked regularly.

    7. NOTICE

    a) All notices, requests, demands or other communications required or permitted by the terms of this Agreement will be sent via email (supplied above) or in writing to the Parties at the service address.

    8. MODIFICATION OF AGREEMENT

    a) Any amendment or modification of this Agreement or additional obligation assumed by either Party in connection with this Agreement will only be binding if evidenced in writing clearly agreed by each Party or an authorised representative of each Party.

    9. GOVERNING LAW

    a) This Agreement will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
